I didn't know there was a word for my beliefs on drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes until about a week ago. I was listening to Rise Against's album Siren Song of the Counter Culture on RealPlayer, and if anyone knows RealPlayer they'll know that it gives you these little fun facts about the band on the bottom right corner of the player if the band is known enough. There was one fact there that made me look the above word up on Wikipedia (I'm probably one of the only people who still uses Wikipedia nowadays ). It said that all the band members of Rise Against are vegan and that Joe Principe is straight edge. I didn't know what that meant so I looked it up on Wikipedia (as mentioned before) and found out that it pretty much meant what my goal in life is to do. In case none of you know, to be straight edge means to devote your life into not abusing drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes. Pretty much saying not to harm your body in senseless, life-damaging ways...
